On National Security Leaks & Press Freedom: Charting a path forward

On National Security Leaks & Press Freedom: Charting a path forward

Online

Co-hosted by the First Amendment Salon and the Knight First Amendment Institute, this salon features Ellen Nakashima of The Washington Post interviewing Lee Bollinger (Columbia University) and Geoffrey Stone (University of Chicago Law School) about their new book National Security, Leaks and Freedom of the Press: The Pentagon Papers Fifty Years On (Oxford University Press, 2021).

The First Amendment Salon is a series of programs that aims to emulate the spirit of our Madisonian guarantee by opening a dialogue, at once robust and diverse, about free expression in America. The salon engages members of the First Amendment community—lawyers, academics, journalists, and activists—in an ongoing discussion of some of the key free speech issues of our day.

This salon will be live-streamed; please RSVP to receive the link.
